Crowned with Love is #33 in the Camfield series by Barbara Cartland and was published in May 1986. Princess Giona is sent from Queen Victoria to marry King Ferdinand of Slovonia, who is old and cruel. On her way there, she finds out that the previous king had a young son who disappeared. She is determined to help the country find the man who is the rightful king!
This is an interesting cover of our couple after the rightful king has taken the throne. We see the happy crowds and the flower decked carriage as the triumphant procession progresses through the city.
I've always liked Cartland's stories of kings and queens. Here she takes a real fact, that Queen Victoria did place her relatives on the thrones of Europe, and creates a great love story from it!
